star wars.
ohkay.
i've got a problem.
i can't understand why people don't like starwars.

...

well. what part of it.
won't someone like?

hmm. yes. the older trilogies.
might be a far cry from today's super fast movies..

but for the time of release,
A NEW HOPE, THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK and THE RETURN OF THE JEDI
were unbelievable.
Across the globe, the star wars era was born.

and frankly.
compared to some of today's movies. they are still damn good.

now. everyone knows about Darth Vader. right.
if you don't. seriously. which planet are you on?!

the latest trilogy traces the story of Vader.
how once, brought into the Jedi order,
as possibly the Chosen one
[who is prophecised to bring balance to the force, by wiping out the Sith].

he is unable to control his emotions...
and slowly transforms into vader.
it's really quite nice (:
until his final pledge to the dark side.
you can actually sympathise with him (:

comeon. he lost his mother, because of the Jedi restrictions.
if he had ignored them, and come to her aid earlier.
he could have done something about it.

but then, his initial turn to the dark side
- to try and save his wife padme from death [he had visions]-
was reasonable...

the power got to his head a bit,
with a little brainwashing from the Sith Lord.

and yep. a nice final face-off is what we'd like.
and that's what we get at the end of the REVENGE OF THE SITH.
between Anakin,
and until-two-minutes-ago-brother-like-friend Obi-Wan.
(:

ohohoh! this is super cool.
got it of starwars.net...

note - The Force is a metaphysical, binding power that is the object of both Sith and Jedi orders...

The good side of the Force is the facet of that energy field aligned with good, benevolence, and healing. The dark side of the Force is the element aligned with fear, hatred, aggression, and malevolence; this side of the Force seems more powerful, though it is just more tempting to those that can touch upon the power as it doesn't impose any restrictions on its use...

yep. The light side, is what the Jedi swear to use.
while the dark side overpowers the Sith.

Jedi Code-
There is no emotion; there is peace.
There is no ignorance; there is knowledge.
There is no passion; there is serenity.
There is no chaos: there is harmony.
There is no death; there is the Force.

Sith Code-
Peace is a lie; there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall set me free.

I like it! (:

yep -
the Sith see the Force as a means to an end; the Jedi see it as an end in itself.

i like it (:

and the whole of Star Wars is likable. just for Yoda!

and the music people!
John Williams has outdone himself for the Star Wars Trilogies!
He's fantastic.

Star Wars Theme
Imperial March (the darth vader music)
Across the Stars (love theme from attack of the clones)
A Hero Falls (from revenge of the sith)

and a lot more. are FANTASTIC!

ohkay.
i guess i like the idea. of bad winning (:
some of you might not.

sigh.
i shall resign myself to the fact that.
some people. might just not like things that are supergood (:
[ohkayohkay. i admit. i'm biased].

but people. watch everything. then comment.

like. Navene and I had this pact last year.
she agreed to go watch Revenge of the Sith in theatre,
if i watched matrix.

I did. like the Matrix.
and she - never a fan of Star Wars.
said. "yeah. you're right. it was quite nice".

there.
people. watch.
then decide it's niceness [or not-niceness].

(:
