the holidays have been boring.

but hey. boring's better than rj.

badminton with apurva, padmini and gang -
twice a week.
the occasional music classes.
and the very infrequent movie releases at video ezy.

that about sums up the holidays thusfar.

i'm truly looking forward to saturday.
we're leaving for sikkim!
7pm flight to calcutta. and then next day to bagdhogra.
followed by rides to gangtok, lachung, pelling,
and even a train ride at darjeeling.

in winter.
i'm hopeful for snow.
at the himalayas.
in the shadows of kanchenjunga (K2).

best of all. with apurva. and family.

cool.

it's in times like this.
i appreciate the fact that me parents speak hindi.
we can roam about north. super freely.
with no problems.

actually. other than my sis and me.
everyone else coming. are well versed in hindi.
sigh.

i guess i can cough up a sentence or two
if i'm lost and dying in the peak of sum ulu mountain.
provided there's someone there.
hey. maybe i could hitch a yak ride down!

unfortunately. aunty flow's gonna visit me.
smack dab, in the middle of this trip.

i escaped the first india trip.
she's coming to get me this time.
sigh.
